Here at The College of Animal Welfare we offer opportunities for individuals worldwide to study and make a difference to animals in their care.

You may decide that studying in in your own country is the right choice for you and we provide the following qualifications that you can select from:

We take pride in being able to provide access to a range of up-to-date learning media in order to give you the best level of support. Our online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) can be accessed at any time of day, from anywhere in the world so long as you have an internet connected device.

If you are thinking of studying one of the distance learning programmes above you will be wondering what is involved:

Interview

Before beginning on your course you will be interviewed, usually by telephone or Skype. This is to ensure that you meet applicable entry requirements and you have the necessary support in place. Please note that all our courses are delivered in English.

Attendance

All our online courses will need you to gain practical experience in the workplace. This is essential within the animal and veterinary industry due to the practical nature of what is involved. This provides you with the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge you will be gaining whilst studying.

Tutor Support

As a distance learning student you will be assigned a Distance Learning Tutor whose role is to provide you with guidance whilst you are achieving your qualification. The tutor will be able to offer support by email and telephone/Skype as required.

Materials and Assessment

You will have complete access to our online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This will include a variety of course materials and can include interactive activities, presentations and PDF’s. The VLE also allows you to upload, track and manage the work you submit to your tutor.
